What is Treety?
Treety is a Netherlands based company that empowers sustainability leaders in finance with a single platform to tackle and streamline sustainability data collection, monitoring and reporting.
We made progressive updates to Treety’s impact reporting platform for investment tracking in SDG-led companies.
Multi-source portfolio tracking
We built functionality to accommodate multiple methods of data input, including manual entry, CSV upload, and third-party integrations, to meet the varied data ecosystems of different organizations. The goal was to ensure flexibility, reduce friction in onboarding, and make it easy for users to get started regardless of their current systems.
Time-based Reporting & Comparison Logic
To support impact measurement over time, we explored and designed several ways to view and compare metrics across different time periods. These included period-over-period comparisons, baseline vs. current views, and customizable reporting ranges—tailored to how each metric was defined and tracked.
Advanced Formula Builder
Given the platform's need to support diverse sustainability indicators, we designed a flexible formula builder that allowed users to define and compute complex, custom metrics. We iterated on this tool’s UI and logic to balance power with usability, enabling non-technical users to configure calculations without compromising on functionality.
Modular Dashboard & Visual Widgets
We designed a dynamic dashboard experience using modular, customizable widgets that visualize SDG-linked KPIs through charts, graphs, and status indicators. These widgets could be rearranged, filtered, and embedded in reports to give users full control over how they showcased and communicated their impact.
Design System Expansion & Maintenance
As the product scaled, I established and evolved a design system to ensure a consistent visual language and streamlined handoffs. I created reusable components, documented usage guidelines, and aligned the system with accessibility best practices to support rapid future development.
